Steven, who worked at Verizon, was known for his warm personality, humor, and generosity. He was a graduate of Dowling College and lived in West Islip, New York, where he shared his life with his family and many friends.
His sister, Gina Battista Vandenberg, announced the heartbreaking news on social media, writing,
“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved brother, Steven Battista 💔.”

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 39 N. Carll Avenue, Babylon.
